On October 14th and 15th, the RS Aero class organization BE/NL has organized a fun event to promote the class at beautiful Loosdrecht waters.
Training
Saturday October 14th was a training day with experienced coaches. Open to both existing Aero sailors and sailors that wanted to get to know the boat. We were really happy to be able to welcome some new youth sailors in the Aero. Many thanks to Aquavitesse for handing out 5 charter loan boats.
It was a very nice (and windy) day and some beautiful pictures were shot by Stefaan.
After the training we had a delicious Indonesian diner.
Racing
Following the successful competition during last year’s event, we held several short races on Sunday October 15th.
Much less wind than on the previous training saturday. But thanks to a professional Race Committee we could sail 3 nice races. Congratulations to Jan for winning the event!
